Salary "Pay-Out" Applications
Wave Crest works with a client to establish a customized Payroll Card program on its eMoney platform. Multiple programs can be set up based on currency, geography and regulatory requirements. Employees' salary can then be deposited on to a Payroll card account in the currency appropriate to the employee's hiring country or hiring plan.
The card is typically "instantly issued" to new employees at an employer location at the time of initial employment, or personalized Payroll cards are ordered in bulk for existing employees who are being converted from check and cash payments to electronic deposit. Employee information is captured at the time of issuance through the employer's own system that is integrated to Wave Crest eMoney platform, or Wave Crest can license B2B web interface applications that the employer can use. Initial instant issue cards can be replaced with permanent personalized cards based on the length of employment, card usage, and any regulatory requirements.
Once the employee Payroll card accounts are established, the employer or its payroll processor now sends electronic deposit instructions either directly to the Wave Crest eMoney platform or through a national payment clearinghouse network to the Payroll Card accounts that have been established on the Wave Crest eMoney platform. The employer can pay the employee (deposit funds to the Payroll Card) on any schedule that fits its salary plan - such as daily, weekly or monthly - and in the currency program under which the employee's Payroll card was established. Wave Crest can also assist the employer in converting its payroll instructions into the Payroll card currencies. Employers provide pay statements to the employee either electronically through the eMoney platform or direct to the employee through the employer's own system. With Payroll cards on the Wave Crest eMoney platform, the employees have immediate and secure access to their salary, no matter where in the world they are on payday.
